GeoPDF Support
A little while back we released version 7.15 of Quick PDF Library, which included an exciting new feature: support for creating and manipulating GeoPDF dictionaries.
For anyone who hasn’t come across the published GeoPDF extension to PDF before, it isĀ used to present GIS and mapping data in a standard PDF.
The new GeoPDF related functions in Quick PDF Library are:

Wouldn’t it have been better to support the GIS features that the ISO 32000 committee has already accepted for inclusion into 32000-2 rather than a developer-centric extension??

Hi Leonard,
The GIF features slated for inclusion in 32000-2 look good and we will most likely support them — providing that we get enough requests from our customers. Our goal is to meet the needs of existing and new customers, and to that end, decisions about which features to add to our SDK depend heavily on the feature requests that we receive.
I’m sure once 32000-2 has been officially released we’ll start to get requests for its GIF features. When do you anticipate ISO 32000-2 will be released?
Cheers,
– Rowan.
